What is llms.txt?
A file in the site root with a description of the site and a list of its key pages in Markdown. It helps AI assistants and agents understand what the site is about without crawling every page.
Where do I put the file?
In the site root: it should open at https://your-site/llms.txt as plain text. On WordPress, Tilda and other builders — upload the file to the root or use a plugin.
Do ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity read it?
There is no single standard yet: some AI services and agents use llms.txt, others don't. The file breaks nothing and takes minutes to add, while what matters most for visibility is bot access, text without JavaScript and structured data — the check shows all of these.
How is llms.txt different from llms-full.txt?
llms.txt is a short index: links to pages with descriptions. llms-full.txt is the full text of the pages in one file, so AI can read the whole site. The generator gives you llms.txt for free; llms-full.txt is part of the full audit.
